This is your opportunity to have a first-hand experience of participating in this ancient tradition by using traditional methods of the centuries-old craft of pottery in Bhaktapur.

What to Expect:
  1. Guided workshops: we offer guided pottery workshops where guests can learn from skilled local potters. These workshops can cover basic techniques and allow guests to create their own pieces.
  2. Pottery tours: includes a tour of Bhaktapur's pottery square, where guests can see traditional potters at work and learn about the history and significance of pottery in the region.
  3. Personalised keepsakes: allow guests to create personalised pottery items, such as mugs, bowls, or vases, which can be glazed and fired for them to take home as souvenirs.
  4. Cultural insights: local potters share anecdotes about the cultural importance of pottery and its role in Nepalese traditions.
